About:China Business Visa

Business visa for a french living in the philippines who don't have the working permit yet

Hi! I'm currently living in the philippines and I'm working here. I have to go to China to see some suppliers but I don't have my working permit yet. I have hard time understanding what form do I have to fill out and the necessary doc plus if me going for business with a tourist visa would be accepted.

In your situation, you should apply for a M type. You need to prepare your passport, completed 2013 version application form affixed with a recent six months passport photo, the invitation letter from your suppliers and your resident permit for employment in Philippines. Sometimes, invitation letter from duly authorized Chinese unit is required. Your supplier should be able to help you acquire this.

It could be possible that you are not caught if you come with L type. However, you are required to apply for a M type because of your visiting purpose.
