About:Slender West Lake

When applying for a Visa, do you send your actual passport? Or get a sticker/stamp to put in yours?

If one has to send the passport, how long is it tied up? Thereby making one unable to do any international travel...even going across the border to Canada.

Gary, you need to submit your passport to Chinese embassy. However, it is comparatively quick. It takes four working days to deal with your application.
