chinese new year - possible with bus?

Question

I can't really figure what's better. I want to go to Gubeikou tomorrow. I've checked the train to chengde will stop there but then it seems like there will be a Great Wall to the wall. Will it be possible to take the long distance bus tomorrow 18 February or do they close everything down because of it? Do you know if the wall will be closed because of new year? Cheers

Lena, the wall isn't closed during the Spring Festival. I think long distance bus is a better idea. You can take No.980 to reach Miyun and then take a mini-van to visit the section.
