What was the architecture like in the Tang dynasty?

What was important about it, if anything, and what was it like? What components made it up?

They were mainly made of masonry and wood. Tang architecture usually has placid roof with lividity-colored tiles. Besides, the pillars are always wide and thick. They usually have very simple colors.
