About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

chinese visa in japan with australian citizenship

Im wanting to get an entry permit for myself and my son for china when we are in japan. We are australian citizens and do not have enough time to get it in australia. This page says i need to go through a travel agent. But when i spoke to a travel agent in tokyo who my friend went through they said that from september 2013 tourists in japan had to apply at the embassy. Is this true? Thanks

Hi, Rachelle! You needn't apply for it through an agency, instead, you can do it by yourself.

Hi. So am i able to get an entry visa at the embassy in tokyo or osaka by just going there myself? Also i know you need two parents signatures however i am my sons only parent. If i have his birth certificate that shows that i am his only parent will it be ok?
