Rent car from shanghai to suzhou

hie, we are 4 people (2 elderly) will it be more convenient and cheaper to rent a car for full day trip from shanghai to SZ city and tongli ? How much the car rent cost will be ? Thanks

Yes, renting a car would be much more convenient, but the cost may be a little higher than riding public transportation. Anyway, the car rental fee shall be CNY500-600 for a return trip as I know.
