About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

Can I mail some documents for authentication ? If I can, what is the mailing address ?

As a Chinese-American, I need a certificate from the Chinese Embassy for the real estate sale in China.
Should I asked the US Dept of State to forward all the documents, or should I handle those myself ?
I've tried several times to reach some one in the Embassy in vain.
Please help.

Which state do you live in? Because only some consulates offer postal services.

You should go to the consulate in Chicago. I'm afraid it does not accept postal authentication application. Before you go to the consulate, you should have the certificate notarized by the Notary Public and Secretary of State or Department of State.

Detailed information about the consulate:
Add: 1 East Erie Street,Suite 500
Chicago,IL 60611
Tel: 312-453-0210
