Quickest way to get to the plank section from Xi'an

I'm coming from Xi'an and have only one day...I'd like to know what is the fastest way to the section of 'planks' .... From where do I catch the cable car, where should I get off and how far from there is the plank road section??

Take a tourist bus at the east square of Xian Railway Station to Huashan first. Then transfer to the shuttle bus to the cable car lower station. Take the West Peak cable car to the west peak. Then you can walk around an hour to the Plank Road.
