About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

My chinese visa expires on the 14th

Does expiry date signify you can enter on that date or do you need to be in the day before? I will land in Shanghai at around 1am on the night of the 13th morning of the 14th. I have a Z type and residence permit and already have the paperwork ready to renew it as soon as i get to the city i Live in.

John, you can enter before 00:00 of the 14th.
