About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can you get a stay permit after you arrive in China?

For family emergency reasons, can one enter China on free transit and get a regular visa after arrival in China?

Howard, you actually can apply for the VOA when you arrive if you really have something urgent (family emergency).
