Does your husband hold USA passport? If so, he needn't apply for HK and Macau visits because USA people with their valid passports can enjoy 90 days free stay in HK and 30 days in Macau.

Flyshnnon, the immigration may ask you to provide MOP5000 at least for each person. If you are worried, you can book return ferry ticket and show them.
