Can I take Saw Palmetto tablets into China for someone who lives there?

Thinking of taking a sealed bag of 1000 500mg tablets.

Joely, the passengers are required to bring their doctors' prescriptions if they plan to take medicine into China. If you don't have the doctor's prescription, I am afraid that you may not bring so much tablets into China.
