About:China Tourist Visa

Proof of residency

When using proof of residency for a tourist visa, is it ok to have a tenancy agreement?

Also, When having your employer as a church or religious organisation, is it correct that I need to state my purposes for coming to China and that it has nothing to do with the organisation?

JO, do you apply in a third country? If so, a resident permit for employment and study or valid visa for that country is required. For your second question, you'd better sate purposes related to do with the organization. In a word, don't try to tell lies in your application.
