About:China Great Wall

Where is the beginning of the Great Wall?

Thanks for your prompt reply to my quesIion, but, I have a photograph of the wall and it appears that the wall begins in the ocean. Am to believe this?

Jake, the wall we see today was mainly built during the Ming Dynasty. It starts from Shanhaiguan Pass in the east. To be more precise, the easternmost starting point is Laolongtou (Old Dragon's head). A part of the wall immerses in the sea. I am not sure if the photo in your hands refers to this section.
