bus schedule to xinjie

Question

It's mentioned above that there is a night bus (sleeper) departing from Kunming at 20:00 and arriving to Yuanyang at 5:30 in the morning (is it a 9-hour drive there??).  Can I buy a ticket in advance somewhere in Kunming?

The nigh sleeper bus leaves from South Bus Station at 19:00. The bus schedule above needs update. They have official bus ticket booking website, but it only has Chinese version. You can ask your Chinese friend to help you with that or just buy the ticket on the spot instead. By the way, the bus duration is 5h.

Yes, it is. You can stay at Duocai Hotel or Jiayuan Hotel. Both of them are located in Renmin Road.
