My DOB is 14.10.82 Should I stay put or change jobs to one with higher status and salary?

I'm worried I won't get selected as competition is tough

Um, if you performed well in daily job, and keep good relationship with your colleagues as well as your boss, it’s very possible that you will be selected. Be confident and prepare well for the competition.
