About:China Embassy in Thailand

Applying for a Chinese Single Entry Visa in Bangkok

I am an Australian. I intend to apply for a single entry L type in Bangkok. Does this cover both HK as well as mainland China? Provided I allow for 4 working days I am assuming that this will cost THB 1,100. Is this correct? Does China provide for VOA? Thank you in advance, Francine

The L type is for mainland China only. For HK, you needn't apply one because you enjoy free stay there. Yes, it costs THB 1100. And VOA is just available for certain cities, such as Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Sanya. However, the VOA for these citites doesn't allow you to go to any other cities.
