Are there any special events events in Xian or Shanghai on February 19th in celebration of the Chinese New Year? Will the museum be open that day?  If so, do you know what those hours might be?Xiexie :)

Generally speaking, Shanghai has some special events at that day, such as New Year Countdown and fireworks show.The museum in Xian will open on that day. The operating hours are 08:30 to 17:00 from March 16 to Nov.15 and 08:30 to 16:30 from Nov.16 to March 15.
