About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Hello, I got accepted for an internship at a global company in Tianjin.

As it will be a 5-month internship I'll need a 6 month working VISA. I suppose I need a Z type as they are willing to give me an allowance.

Which type will I require? As well that I am not located currently in my country of citizenship, can I arrange this in HK?

Kind Regards,
Thanks in advance.

Well, I think that you have very little chance of submitting your documents to the authorities in HK, who deals with visa application because you don't have HK resident status. However, you may try to apply via agencies in HK. Please try to contact this agency. It is said that this one is the most powerful.
