About:Chinese Consulate in Manchester

Hong Kong Working Holiday Visa

I have downloaded the HK WHV application form from HK Immigration page and am a bit lost as to where to send it. From the application notes I believe I can send my application to you in Manchester? How would I organise the payment for the WHV? The CVASC website only mentions China visas or links me back to HK immigration. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I will be staying in Hong Kong for the full 12 months and have no plans to enter mainland China.

Yes, you can either send the application to the HK Immigration Department or the consulate-general at Manchester. If you send it to the consulate, the fee would be 20 pounds for the application approval plus 15 pounds for telecommunication sevices. If you send it to the HK Immigration office, the fee would be 160 dollars. You should pay for the application when collecting the granted entry permit and your passport.

Thank you although the website here says I have to go via CVASC now and the Consulate General's office no longer accepts direct applications? Am I better off going to CVASC & paying the fees to sort it out. Many thanks again
