About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Fiancé in China, may teach, may get married!

I plan to fly to Beijing, where my fiancé will meet me, then we will take the train to Jinan- her home. We intend to travel all over Mainland China, then to Shanghai and, possibly Hong Kong. If possible, i would consider teaching English in Jinan.
My fiancé is mailing my invitation letter, today. In the meantime, what kind of visa should i consider?

If you want to teach English in Jinan, you have to apply for the working type, that is, the Z type. So you should hunt for a school in China which is authorized to hire foreigners and ask it to offer you a work permit. Then you can apply for the Z type with the work permit.
