Did emperor yongzheng really stole the king title from his fourteen brother ?

Rumor has it that Yongzheng (fourth son of Emperor Kangxi) stole the king title from his fourteen brother by rewriting the imperial decree. But I don't think so. Four and fourteen are very different in traditional Chinese characters and the expressions " the King titled is endowed to..." was even more different.
