need a visa if staying in fanling? and traveling to hong kong everyday?

Do I need mulltiple ones if I will be going to hong kong everyday if I am staying with my dad in fanling during my visit?

Yes, you need a multiple one. I am not sure which type you hold. However, those who hold valid resident permits can exit and re-enter China as they wish.
