Multi entry visa for foreign property ownership

Hi,

I've been looking for information online in order to sort out our situation and stumbled on your page, I'm not sure if I qualify for any criteria above but in any case maybe you can answer my questions:

Me and my companion bought a brand-new apartment in Shanghai in 2012 (both our names appear on the property certificate) but since then we've been relocated out of China due to our work.

We both hold different foreign passports but I am of Chinese descent, born in China, my parents even have a house in Guangdong thanks to which they got a "landlord" multi-entry one recently enabling them to visit China often (they're both over 60).

I would like to know if there's any such scheme for me as an overseas Chinese holding a foreign passport (I'm in my 30s) enabling me to visit our property in Shanghai often (short visit 30 days each time ok) just based on my rights of landlord?

My job now isn't related with China at all so I won't be able to ask my company to apply for a M type for me and travel there on business, like my companion still does, so I have to apply to a L type every time, it's costly and takes many pages on my passport per year! Decorating and furbishing the apartment really would require now that I spend more time in the next couple of years, but even though only to manage it in the future, I cannot think of having to wait for a single one a whole week if all of a sudden our presence is required in China to deal with some serious damage that could happen in the place and that my companion can't travel. Anyway, he may not get a M type for China with his company for the rest of his life either.

Thank you very much for letting me know what type I am entitled to and how to proceed!!

Fabfour, may I know which country's passport you hold currently? If you hold US passport, you can try to apply for a 10 years multiple-entry L type with the 60 days duration of each stay.
