Canadian family moving from Montreal to Hong Kong

Does the China Consulate in Montreal offer diverse information on Hong Kong? Can we just walk in?

I guess that you can go to the embassy to learn more about Hong Kong. However, if the officers there are busy, they may not have much time talking to you. So why not obtain the information through internet?
