Picking up a pet

Hi, I will be flying from the Philippines to Beijing to the U.S. all by air. I will have a ticket booked for the U.S. before I enter Beijing and I will leave Beijing within 72 hours of arriving, but while I am there I plan on picking up a pet cat for transport to the U.S. I just want to make sure that this is allowed.

Thank you,

Before you board onto the plane, you must provide a valid animal health certificate and vaccination certificate issued by a Supervision and Quarantine Authority of county-level or above. In addition, you must apply for a shipping space for your cat and buy a dedicated box for transporting it. I think maybe there are also some papers you need to prepare to enter the USA.
