About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

Enry permit for China from Tibet

I am a UK passport holder and planning on travelling from India to Nepal and then on to Tibet and mainland China. Can I apply for a visa to China when I am in Nepal? Also, is it fine to travel to Tibet from Nepal and then on to mainland China?

Yes, you can apply it in Nepal and can travel to Tibet from Nepal and then on to mainland, but you have to apply for the Tibet entry permit through travel agencies after you got the entry permit for mainland China.
