Short trip for China during Spring Festival

I am a New Zealand citizen living in South Korea and would like to visit China over Chinese New Year. Will I still require a tourist visa for the short trip with proof of a return ticket? Thank you

Hello Lydia! You need to apply for an L type. Go to the CVASC branch in South Korea and submit the application, you will be required to provide a valid passport, a photocopy of the data page, a filled application form affixed with your recent photo, the original and photocopy of your residence permit in SK, and round trip tickets and hotel room reservations.
