Hi, I am visiting Guangzhou from 20-22 Feb 2015 (the 2nd - 4th days of the lunar new year) and wondering...1. Is Canton Tower still open?2. Which museums (if any) still open?3. Will the Pearl River Cruises be still operating as usual?4. How is Beijing Road and Shangxia Jiu Lu for shopping? Will all the shops/eateries be closed?5. What special attractions or CNY activities to look out for during this time? Thank you very much :)

1. Of course the Canton Tower is open. 2. Museums: GZ Art Museum, Guangdong Museum, and Canton Museum.3. Yes, a lot of people take the Pearl River Cruise during Chinese New Year. Maybe there are special events or services during the period.4. The shops and eateries wouldn’t be closed, don’t worry. Maybe you need to queue for it is crowded. 5. As I know, Chimelong Resort and Canton Tower have special activities, such as firework shows, you can have a try there.
