Certification of authorisation to collect pension in China

Dear Sir or Madam,

We would like to make an inquiry on the above matter. My parents are aging and it is getting harder for them to travel back to China to collect their pension. We would like to know whether they can authorise someone in China to collect their pension on their behalf and whether this can be organised by the Chinese Consulate in Melbourne or the Chinese Embassy in Canberra.

Thanks & kind regards
Sherry

Hi Sherry! There are different regulations in different regions, some allow the pension collection aurthorisation while some don't. I think you should get contact with the Human Resources and Social Security Department in charge with your parents' pension and consult with them whether the authorisation can be done.
