I would like to know if we need to apply a transit visa?

We're holding Philippine passport. We're planning to go Jeju this March. And we will layover at Shanghai Pudong Int'l Airport around 7 hours. Are we able to go out the airport while waiting for our next flight to Jeju?

If you plan to exit the airport, you need to apply for a stay permit at the airport. Besides, you don't need for the G type because you enjoy 24 hours free transit in Shanghai.
