About:Terracotta Army, Xian

We plan to take the train from Beijing around Feb 19 and stay in Xian for two nights.

best options for either renting a house, bed and breakfast or hotel in a location close enough as we will need transport

When you reach XA, you are suggested to live in the Longhai Hotel, which is walking distance from the railway Station. At the east square of the station, you can take the tourist bus to the terracotta army directly. And in your hotel, you can take the airport shuttle bus to the airport directly. So the hotel is a nice choice with convenient transportation access.
