I am french. Can I apply for Chinese visa from Hongkong? Hongkong to china by train.

Hi Sonam, it is not assured that you can get one through the Commisioner Office of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the PRC. Alternatively, you are suggested to find a travel agency there and entrust it to submit the application for you.1
