Philippines enjoy 14 days visa free access to HK and you can apply for an extension for stay for another 14 days.  If you want to stay there for 6 months or a year, you need to apply for a visa.  You should apply for that through Chinese embassy or consulate. If they can issue you a HK visa, four working days are needed. If you are informed that the application form should be sent back to HK, the whole process takes 4-6 weeks.
