About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

Do we need to apply for a visa and what documentation is needed?

We are planning a trip to Macau (my husband, 2 children and myself). We will be staying with friends. We thought of flying to Hong Kong and taking the ferry to Macau. We have south african passports.

You don't need one for either Hong Kong or Macaus, as both of them offers a 30-day free pass for South African passport holders.
