About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 Hour Travel Permit - Beijing

I'll have an 18 hour layover in Beijing from the UK to Hiroshima, and have booked a hotel for the night. Will I need to print anything to show I will be leaving China the next day?

Yes, if you don't have the air ticket for Japan at hand, you should print the ticket order or receipt issued upon buying the ticket.
