About:Hong Kong MTR - Tung Chung Line

which better mtr or taxi for 7 persons from HK tsim sha tsui mtr station to tung chung

thinking if we should individually take octopus card and take mtr to tung chung or we take 2 taxis to tung chung?
would mtr be faster?

These two transportation don't have big differences.
Of course, taxi is faster than the mtr. The taxi will take around 30 mins on the way. And the mtr will take around 40 mins on the way.
But according to the number of your group, you need two taxis. The fare of one taxi is around 230 HKD. It's expensive.
So if you don't catch the time, you are suggested to take mtr. You can take West Rail Line at East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, and get off at Nam Cheong Station. Then transfer to Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung Station, Exit A. After arriving, walk to the destination directly. :-)
