About:Visa Policy of China

If I want to fly on Monday 05/01/15 is it possible to get a visa in Singapore?

I hold a work employment pass that is considered residency. Travelling to visit a friend on short notice.
I am a british citizen with a UK passport.

Can you advise??

If you have work employment passport, you are able to apply it in Singapore. A single entry Tourist L is suggested for your short visiting to China.
