Chinese Visa for Bangladeshi Passport holder livning in Germany

I want to go to Shanghai to visit a friend. I plan to stay 7-10days. In the first half of January 15. I have a valid Bangladeshi passport (Now I live in Germany with a temporary residence), Do I need to show hotel bookings and flight tickets to/from China? I do not hold a job currently. I am on a job seeking visa in Hamburg. How much money do I need to show in my bank statement? I know I need some sort of reference letter from my friend, is there a format/form for it, or does she write it in any way providing her infos? Should the letter be in Chinese Language? Also she does not have an official stamp, does only the signature suffice?

Thanks

Bappa

1. If your friend can offer you an invitation letter, then the flight tickets and hotel bookings are not necessary.

2. There are no specific requirements about bank statement by the CVASC branches in Germany, so I think you can consult it with the officers there.

3. The invitation letter should contain:
(1) your information (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.);
(2) details of the planned visit (your arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, accomodation arrangements, etc.);
(3) her information (name, contact telephone number, address, signature).

4. The invitation letter can be in Chinese or in English and her signaturewill suffice.
