I am Liane from malaysia,   How can I get to the Ice Festival park from there and where do I get the tickets.  I too don't speak Mandarin so just like Amy from US, I need info in English.  Is there any local tours that we can take from HRB which are not too expensive.  Any suggestions about cheap transport from Guangzhou to HRB?  The airfares seemed very expensive.

You can take airport shuttle bus line 3 from the airport to Central Street. After arrival, It’s about 1000 yards to the hotel. You can whether take a taxi or just walk to reach.By ice festival park I guess you mean the ice and snow world. You can bus 126 from Central Street to reach. To Zhaolin Park you can just walk to the north for about 500 yards. To Sun Island you can take bus 29 from Flood control monument and get off at Sun Island. You can find a Chinese friend to help you book ticket online or just buy the ticket when you arrive there.Except flight, you can also take train from Guangzhou. Z112 and Z236 are available. The train take about 35 hours and cost CNY616 for hard sleeper and CNY1077 for soft sleeper.
