About:Guilin Transportation

Guilin to Mount danxia

I am presently in GL and wanting to go to the Danxiashan or Mount Danxia National Park
I can't find anyone that speaks English around here even though the Hotel claims that their staff speek English on Bookings
Does anybody know the best way to get there or know of an English speaking travel agent near the GL Homeland Riverview Hotel
Would appreciate any help or advice

Hey, you can take K950 from GL North to Shaoguan East. The train runs at 21:15 and arrives there at 05:05. The ticket fare is CNY277 for soft sleeper and CNY156 for hard sleeper.
After arrival, you can transfer another train to Danxiashan at the same station. The first train runs to Danxiashan starts at 10:18 and it takes 27 minutes to reach. The ticket fare is CNY87.5 for soft sleeper and CNY60 for hard sleeper.

I have been trying all day to find information but to no avail.

Another question: do I buy the ticket at the station just before I leave or can I buy it in town somewhere?

Both are available.
Here are some addresses of the train ticket offices in the city. You can select the nearest one to go.
1. Binjiang Hotel, no. 18, Binjiang Road.
2. Xinhuadu Hotel, no. 42, North Zhongshan Road.
3. Cuiwu Hotel, no. 2, Xicheng Road.
4. Century Garden, Dong’an Avenue.
If all these are far from your location, just go to the railway station.
