About:SG04-INTL

how can I change to q visa after my x type expire and for how long I can have it?

I am having student x type and recently I get married to Chinese girl.

You can first consult with the local public security bureau for whether you can change the X type into Q type. But there is little possibility it could be done within China. You are suggested to go outside China and apply for a Q type, then reenter China.
