can i get visa from your office while staying in sri lana?

Dear Officer,I am an Australian Sri Lankan citizen. I am a scientist in Australia and working as a consultant to Yunnan Science Accademy to develop sugarcane research in Yunnan province. I was invited to attend the research review meeting in Yunnan sugar research  institute. on 14th January while I am in Sri Lanka for a holiday. I will return to Brisbane Australia on 8 Jan 2015 and has no time to apply. I have traveled to Kunming more than 8 times since 2010 and I have the invitation letter with me. Please advice me whether I could get one before 8th Jan before I left Sri Lanka.
