About:Liaoning Travel

In Dalian now and want to go to DanDong any suggestions?

Looking for ideas on where to stay? One night. And suggestions on what to see in one day. Thanks so much if you can help.

You can take bus from Beigangqiao Bus Station to Dandong. It takes about 4 hours to reach and the ticket price is CNY54 – 70.5.
Hotels recommended in Dandong:
1. Zhonglian Hotel: no. 62, Binjinag Middle Road.
2. Yalu River Hotel: no. 87, Jiuwei Road, Zhenxing District.
Places to go: Dalu Island; Yalu River Bridge

Thanks so much will check it out. Found Ritz Carlton at "booking" in DanDong with rooms for 53 dollars. Any suggestions on it?

I don't know the hotel you searched out, but I know the Sunny Resort Hotel in Dandong is a good choice and the cost is not very high.

From Dalian to Dandong, take the speed train from the railway station (once a day). It takes about 2 hours to arrive at Dandong. there are many trains (more stops and needs about 3+ hours) to Dandong at Dalian Bei (North) Station. Metro Line 2 connects Dalianbei Station.
