About:China Private Visit Visa

Changing of Resident permit Status

Am currently a student studying in china, but i will finish my studies soon and am willing to change my student type to a dependent one because i have a foreign wife working in china now,is it possible for me to do it without leaving china?

Habeeb, you should apply for a S1 type in your situation. However, I am afraid that you may not apply for it successfully without leaving China. After new entry and exit management law was implemented, it's almost impossile to change visa types without leaving CHina. Perhaps, you may confirm this with local entry and exit management bureau. Then you will know what you should do to change from X to S1 type
