About:Wuzhou Travel

is there a high speed train from nanning to wuzhou and if so, what is the train schedule

Yes, there are five high speed trains from Nanning Railway Station to WZ South Railway Station every day.
The schedules respectively are 07:50 am, 11:00 am, 13:39 pm, 17:00 pm and 18:40 pm.
It will take around 2.5 hours on the way.

If you are traveling on weekends or Chinese holidays, it would be best to book the train tickets in advance. And this website (Travel China Guide) can help you. I booked a couple of train tickets from them. Here is the contact:

From what I understand some trains originate from other places like Beihai. Will I be able to book the train ticket and board at Nanning?

I'm afraid. You have to hold the ticket for the correct route, namely, Nanning to Wuzhou.
