Since your first duration is 30 days, your maximum extension will be no longer than 30 day. If you can provide necessary documents, the extension is not so difficult.

If your partner is an individual, you need to provide your Chinese partner's individual ID card/Chinese resident permit, the contract between you and your bank statement for the trade.

You mean you want to extend your current M for around 30 days and then use it to stay in HK? If so, it is not allowed. China mainland and HK have different immigration rules. So you need to ave related permit to enter HK.

If you make an extension first and then go to HK within the extension, the extension will expires automatically. Then you need to apply for another new M if you have already used your two entries.

Thank u Heather, I am doing an intership in a company so the only I get is a M type for 30 days with two entrances. So my idea is to extend another 30 days, and then go to Hong Kong. And stay there 30+30(extension). And then perhaps I must apply the M again in other country to continue in China, no?
