About:Hangzhou Travel

i like to know more about transport from Hangzhou to Hongcun.

My questions -
1) what are the options - bus/train/chartered vechicle
2) cost for each option
3) travelling time & bus schedules
4) if take bus, how is the bus condition (well maintained tour coach or run down public bus?)
5) any toilet stop/break for bus passenger since the journey could be long?
6) any potential highway/road closure if travel in Dec/Jan? Heard that the heavy haze during winter may trigger road closure, is it true?

1. No direct train available between. If by chartered vehicle, it may needs at least CNY800. So you’re suggested to take bus to reach.
2. You’d take bus from HZ West Bus Station to Yixian. After arrival at Yixian Bus Station, you can take bus near the stone bridge which is located 50 meters far from the bus station.
3. Bus from HZ to Yixian runs in 07:20. The ticket fare is CNY100. It takes about 4 hours to reach.
Bus from Yixian to Hongcun runs every 20 minutes. The ticket fare is CNY2 and it take about 20 minutes to reach.
4&5. Bus from HZ to Yixian would provide hot water, soft seat and hanging TV. It would make one or two stopover for the driver and passengers to have a rest during the journey.
6. If there are heavy snow, the highway maybe closed.
