crossing border to laos from mohan,china

i am a malaysian and intent to travel from xian to mohan and cross the border to boten,laos . is it possible ? thank u.

As far as i know, it is impossible to travel to laos by rail. Flight maybe the only option. You can find a local agency to check it.
