About:Chinese Embassy in Indonesia

applying for visa in Indonesia

Betty Wu here again. What if my indonesian friend applying to go china in her own country (indonesia)? how long will it be given? They only have a "marriage" certificate from Batam , is it valid ?

Betty, to be honest, the duration is hard to tell.
Since Batam is belonged to Indonesia, the marriage certificate from Batam is valid for the country of Indonesia, right? If so, personally speaking, your friend can consider to apply for a S1 instead of a F to stay in China. The marriage certificate can be used to apply for a S1. If she can get a S1 and then change it to a resident permit in China, she can stay in China at least for 180 days.
